'Comfort food' ribbons handed out at fair (The Altoona Herald-Mitchellville Index)

A classic comfort food won top honors in the Waveland Cafs Comfort Food Showdown competition on Aug. 10, at the Iowa State Fair. Beth Seuferer of West Des Moines won first place in the chicken category and received a $100 Waveland gift certificate for her Chicken Pot Pie entry.
