Mandola Turns a Chunk of Driftwood into an Italian Find (Austin American-Statesman)

DRIFTWOOD Longtime Houston restaurateur Damian Mandola moved to the Austin area to retire. But in the past four years, he has built an Italian market/deli, a vineyard, a house, a winery and last month he opened a large Italian restaurant.
